Jon Tyas - Sales Representative

Jon has joined us as a full time sales representative after a successful 15-year career selling to Fortune 500 companies globally. With excellent communication skills and a consultative sales style, Jon brings his track record of closing multi-million dollar sales and strong client relationships to HomeLife.

Within a year of graduating from university with a degree in economics and business, Jon bought his first cottage on Horseshoe Lake. It was there where the cottage bug — and blackflies — bit him, establishing his love of northern life and his aspiration of settling there permanently. In joining us he has combined his love of the Georgian Bay/Parry Sound area with his business acumen.

Jon has been a seasonal resident of Parry Sound for more than 15 years, dividing time between his cottages on Horseshoe Lake and Georgian Bay. During the winter months, Jon remains in contact with a great number of people in the GTA and continues to consult there with clients to discuss future plans, marketing strategies and opportunities for vacation properties.

Colleen Bell - Sales Representative & Administrative Manager

Born and raised in the Parry Sound area Colleen was welcomed to our team in April of 2008 as adminstrative/bookeeping support staff and moving up to Administrative Manager/Bookeeper after only 8 months. By the fall of the next year in 2009 Colleen began her courses to be a licensed real estate sales representative. April of 2010 Colleen became the first Real Estate Licensed Administrative Manager in Parry Sound.

Colleen is now able to assist both our sales staff and our clients with their real estate needs as well as trade in real estate herself. With her management and accounting background, her great sense of humour and her eagerness to learn we expect Colleen to do nothing less than rise to the top!
